Chilling, thrilling, amazing – not microsoft, but the Universe. As a young teen age boy in Pocatello, Idaho I spent the summer nights sleeping out. When I wasn’t out with the boy scouts I was in my sleeping bag, on the lawn.
Thanks to Microsoft, I can show you what I saw:

Often the Pocatello summer nights had waves and levels of clouds going by. I concluded over and over, there must be a God in charge of this all.
Today I discovered the new microsft World Wide Telescope. It opens the Universe to us all. I went on amazing tours of the galaxies. The chill is still there.
Experience the Solar System, the planets, our planet, and a world that confirms to me my beliefs.
Whatever yours are, go to: http://www.worldwidetelescope.org/experienceIt/ExperienceIt.aspx
download the application and prepare to spend some time in the Universe.
These are some of what I saw. The images were copied from my screen by the Jink Project tool.

Its all about competiton, your home versus all others in your price range. Buying a home is very much an emotional purchase. How does it feel when you walk in? Does it feel classy or junky.
Here is a tip from published interior designer Kathleen Leavitt Cragun about prepring your home for sale. Some call it staging.
When you are selling your home, it immediately becomes a product that buyers compare with all the other homes they look at. Preparing to have your home look its best is a very smart idea. However it is easy to spend time and money on things that may not help all that much, and could even have a detrimental effect. A lot depends on the price range of the home. Hiring professional help to put your home’s best face forward is a relatively new phenomena.
Most Interior Designers think they can stage homes and most Staging Professionals think they can do Interior Design. There is some crossover, true, but the philosophies and purpose are very different. There is much more training, talent and skill needed to be an effective designer than most Staging Professionals possess. On the other hand, many designers don’t really understand the common sense or purpose behind Staging. Their egos take over and bad advice is given. Even though I believe I succeeded in my goals with the rooms below, they were Street of Dreams homes, so the final results were to that end.

When Stan Merrill and I hooked up as business associates in the Seattle Market, he worked for Prudential in Kent, Washington and I worked for a division of Guaranty Bank.
Stan had a lot more experience than I at the time, but I had the resources of a large bank.
For many years I was Stans lender. I write this so you can understand the power of working with the right real estate agent. Stan was demanding of me. He wanted me on call to approve prospects at all times of the day or evening. He expected me to get enough facts to be correct. He expected me to make people feel comfortable with the process and to know what their payments would be at the price they wanted to buy. He expected me to know the maximum they qualified for, as people sometimes move up in price as they are looking, to get the home they really want. Stan expected no loan crashes. In other words, if I said they qualified they qualified. If I agreed to a 30 day closing, the loan had better close in 30 days.
The title mentions loan officer – Realtor teams. This was a team relationship. My office was about a 45 minute drive from Stans. There were times he did things I would have to do, get a signature, pick a document for example. Stan knew financing at a high level. He understood the various programs. When we had a customer with a challenge we would work on ideas together. I could count on Stan to deliver an average of 3 transactions a month for me. Some of his buyers paid cash or had their own lenders, but for the clients sake, he preferred they work with me.
That way they had a team not just an agent or a lender.
And that’s they way it should be.

From the President of CiUn (Consumer Information Undressed Network) Larry Cragun
I was raised in Pocatello, Idaho. I was in the largest poky high graduating class. You figure out how old I am, or what class that was.
I have built my real estate career in the Seattle, Washington area. Prices are so expensive here, I think many of our renting friends may move to Pocatello or other places.
One of my classmates was a top producer in real estate sales in our market. Stan Merill is his name. Each year he was the number 1, 2, or 3 for the local Prudential franchise.
Stan is back in Pocatello now. Tell Stan hi, and give him a call at 208.240.0107. He is a real pro in this important real estate business.
